Maís is a yearly art festival during which artistic installations are put on the streets of Brussels. (www.maiis.be)

These photos are of the artwork 'Noir & Blanc en couleur' (~'Black & White in color') by the students of the Victor Horta Institute.

They painted some extra colors on all the crossing zones of a big street. To give the grey city a bit more color, and also to refer to the well known optical illusions with parallel lines.
